Why did I create the "Au-Délà du Voile" oracle?

For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by cards.

Oracles, tarot cards, symbols, these images capable of telling a story without uttering a single word.

I collected decks, studied their universes, explored their symbolism. Some accompanied me during important periods of my life. Others helped me ask questions I would never have dared to ask myself otherwise.

Very early on, I understood that what attracted me to cards was not prediction.

It was reflection.

Their ability to make us pause for a few moments amidst the daily hustle and bustle, inviting us to look within ourselves.

Over the years, my path led me to many discoveries.

I explored different traditions, studied symbols, sought to understand what connects human beings across cultures and eras. I also went through my own trials, my own questioning, my own transformations.

Like many, I experienced periods where certainties crumbled.

Moments when life forces us to rediscover ourselves.

Moments when we understand that the true journey is not always the one we undertake across the world, but the one we embark on within ourselves.

It was at the heart of this journey that an idea began to grow.

What if I created my own oracle?

Not just a simple deck of cards.

Not a tool designed to predict the future.

But a companion.

A mirror.

A support capable of accompanying those who are also going through a period of questioning, transformation, or search for meaning.

For a long time, this idea remained a dream.

I took notes. I drew concepts. I accumulated reflections. I let the project mature at the pace of my own journey.

Then one day, I understood that the time had come.

Au-Délà du Voile was born from this inner necessity.

From this desire to bring together in one box the symbols that accompanied me, the questions that transformed me, and the keys to understanding that I encountered on my path.

But the title of this oracle also carries a deeper meaning.

Why "Au-Délà du Voile" (Beyond the Veil)?

Because throughout my research, an intuition kept coming back.

That what we perceive may only be a part of reality.

We go through our lives believing we know the world around us. We name things. We explain them. We measure them. Yet, there sometimes remains that strange feeling that there is something vaster behind what our eyes can see.

Like an immense veil placed over existence.

Not a veil that would hide a forbidden truth, but a veil that simply reminds us that we may only have access to an infinitesimal part of the mystery.

Great spiritual, philosophical, and initiatory traditions have all evoked this idea in their own way.

Behind the visible lies the invisible.

Behind the form lies the meaning.

Behind the events of our lives are sometimes hidden lessons that we only understand with time.

I do not claim to know what lies beyond this universal veil.

I do not claim to hold answers.

But I deeply believe that symbols, dreams, intuitions, synchronicities, and the great questions we carry within us are all invitations to explore this mystery.

It is this exploration that I wished to transmit through this oracle.

Au-Délà du Voile was not created to tell people what they should believe.

It was created to invite them to look.

To feel.

To question.

To open doors.

To discover their own answers.

Even today, when I hold this box in my hands, I find it hard to believe that it actually exists.

Because beyond the cards, illustrations, and symbols, this oracle represents the fulfillment of a dream.

That of an oracle enthusiast who chose to create her own.

And if Au-Délà du Voile can accompany someone on their journey, help them better understand themselves, or simply remind them that there are sometimes more things between the visible and the invisible than we imagine, then it will have fully found its purpose.

Each card is a door.

Each symbol is an invitation.

And every journey begins when we dare to look beyond the veil.
